The process of manufacturing tea will be explained to you and you can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. After breakfast, departure to Habarana. On the way we will visit the Matale Spice Garden & a Batik Factory & Dambulla Temples before arriving in Habarana for a visit to the famous Dambulla Rock Temples. Evening via visit Sigiriya Rock Overnight at Habarana.
After breakfast, proceed to Polonnaruwa. The high quality of Sinhalese architecture and sculpture continued when Polonnaruwa became the capital of Sri Lanka after Anuradhapura. In fact, some of the religious monuments were more impressive than those in Polonnaruwa which is the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms. The ancient monarchs moved there when Anuradhapura, their stronghold was attacked by invaders from India. At nearly 1000 years old, POLONNARUWA is one of Sri Lanka’s and World’s most ancient capital cities. Admire the majestic palace ruins and temples and impressive dagobas. Overnight at Habarana.
After breakfast tour of Colombo which includes busy bazaar area, Kovils, Temples, Independence square, BMICH ETC, then according to the flight schedule transfer to the airport for the departure.
